Valerie Mc Enery has been at Maroubra for several years. Valerie has a Montessori Diploma and has worked in Ireland, USA and now in Sydney.
Valerie attended a Montessori Preschool herself in Ireland. Valerie attended a St John's First Aid Course Caring for Kids . A valuable part of Professional Development are the many inservices that staff attend each year. As well as attending NSWMA Inservice days, at Montessori Works we also ran workshops on Anaphylaxis, Food Handling,Nutrition, Positive Parenting and Brain Gym.

Kasey Harrington assists Valerie each day.
Kasey attended the AMS Montessori Diploma Course. The AMS Course is recognised by the University of Western Sydney as providing a sound base (It was given the highest credit points of all Montessori Courses) towards the Bachelor of Teaching
Kasey also has her Caring dor Kids First Aid Certificate.

Randwick Campus
Lisa Prota 
Lisa Prota has been working at Montessori Works Randwick since 2002. Lisa has completed an Early Childhood Degree.
Lisa attended the Montessori Wednesday Weekly Workshops from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, to gain a deeper understanding of Montessori Philosophy and how these materials work to help the development of the child.

Tina Stergenakis (Authorised Supervisor) is an experienced and dedicated staff person who came to join our team in 2006. Tina works Full-time. What a great team we do have, as each person brings their strengths into the workplace.

Maria Keshavarz
After attaining Early Childhood training (Diploma of Ealy Childhood) Maria put her talents to work in mainstream Child Care.
After being introduced to Montessori Education Maria became a champion for the cause.
"She has eyes that see!"
Maria completed her Montessori Diploma (AMS) and enjoys working with children. As Authorised Supervisor at Maroubra Junction as well as being the Montessori Directress Maria has been able to develop Professionally.
We all work as part of a team that acknowledges honest and open communication as our keystone of respect.
Mirna Bechara

Assisting in the Montessori environment is Mirna Bechara. Mirna attended the Montessori Weekly Workshops to be able to assist Maria in giving the children presentations.
All the staff benefits from New South Wales Montessori Association's In Service days. All our staff have Caring for Kids first Aid. We hold our own workwshops as needs arise; for example all the Staff attended a Food Handler's Course, Nutrition and a presentation from the POWCH on Anaphylaxis. |
