A series of seminars and workshops are to be given over 4 terms in 2008. 10 weeks in each term. The course is suitable for those wanting to know about Montessori Education with the intent of becoming a Montessori Director/Teacher, Assistant and/or a Parent who would like to know the fundamentals of Montessori Education. (Course co-ordinator: S Chahwan AMS 0-24years, AMI 3-6 yreas) We cover topics such as The Absorbent Mind, Planes of Development, Sensitive Periods, Human Tendencies, the Tripartite Nature of Human Beings, Cosmic Education, the Role of the Director and the Prepared Environment in relation to Practical Life Activities, Sensorial Activities, the Montessori Language Program and Mathematics. Commencing at 6.30pm to 8.30pm on a Tuesday Evening. Two hour seminar with demonstrations on the use of the Montessori Materials - a hands on approach to learning. You can join at anytime throughout the term as each week is complete in itself. Workshops are held at Maroubra Montessori: 469 Malabar Road, MAROUBRA 6.30pm - 8.30pm
